Ben Okafor is a prolific performer as well as an advocate for social justice, a passion that grew from his own experience of involvement as a child soldier in the Nigeria/Biafra war. An experienced musician and actor Ben has used his art to communicate creatively on social issues for many years. These performances have taken him to mainland Europe, Africa, India and America and placed him before diverse audiences. Ben founded ABC in 2006. Through its work, Ben shares his passion for the use of the arts as a vehicle for self-expression and global social change.
